Jessica Wofford is a Houston calligrapher, hand engraver, and live event artist who specializes in creating personalized heirlooms, luxury gifting experiences, and meaningful keepsakes for weddings, brands, and private clients. She is the founder and artist behind Wofford Calligraphy, a studio known for elegant custom lettering, bottle engraving, leather burning, and on-site event personalization.

Jessica’s work has been featured in ShoutOutHTX, and she collaborates regularly with national brands, local boutiques, and event planners throughout the Houston area.

My Story

Hi, I’m Jessica. Ever since I was four years old, I have loved handwriting. I learned cursive before anyone else in my pre-K class knew print. At age twelve, my dad, a sign painter and letterer, bought me my first calligraphy pen and taught me how to use it. I doodled, practiced, wrote notes in cursive, and in my early twenties for my own wedding, I finally picked up dip pen calligraphy, and I was instantly hooked!

Today, I write on everything in my house and use my art as a form of expression, refinement, and beauty. My goal is to help others bring the same sense of intention and elegance into their lives, homes, celebrations, and gifting.

I am passionate about creating pieces that feel meaningful. Whether I am engraving a perfume bottle, adding names to a Bible, customizing wedding place cards, burning florals into leather, or personalizing gifts at live events, I want every piece to become a lasting keepsake.
